Crumble has fast become the hottest spot to have lunch around Business Bay and I was so excited to sample the menu.
I chose the prawn and pomelo salad which sounded divine – mango, cilantro, mont, shallots, peanuts, carrots, toasted sesame seeds and a lime and chilli dressing. It was literally a party in my mouth, I would definitely recommend it as the flavours married so perfectly. They actually brought out all the salads for us to sample, I also enjoyed the roasted peach salad. I got to order a different main and I decided on the prawn tacos which were yummy but took quite a long time to come out. I tasted some of the steak with parmesan truffle fries and various other dishes and there was nothing I didn’t like. Everyone was raving about the Wagyu burger so its definitely one to go back for…maybe on cheat day!
They make infused water which you can ask for, that day they had basil with mint and orange and although it sounds strange it was really good, I actually made it at home after that.
I enjoyed the food so much that I had some friends meet me there for breakfast the following week as it is close to my office. Unfortunately despite the restaurant being empty the service was exceptionally slow and some of the items we ordered were forgotten. The breakfast was pretty average, definitely prefer the lunch and dinner there. If they improved on the service I would definitely head to Crumble Cafe more often for my lunch breaks as I really enjoyed the food, they have plenty of healthy options and a nice variety of dishes. You can find it located under the Sofitel in Business Bay.
